WANTED LINES
Is there a glaring hole on the cast list you're hoping to fill? Want to complete your Quidditch team? Pad out your dorm? Maybe recruit a new cousin, make a mess of your dating history, or plan out a plot you'd like to pursue? If you've answered yes to any of these questions, you've come to the right place!
You can request specific character names, character groups (Varsity Quodpot, Thorntrail Quidditch, Bowling Club members), or for a particular plot line (a best friend, a distant relative, a rival, etc.) here in the commments. Please note that applicants are not obligated to fill requests on this page. Generally speaking, the more flexible the request, the more likely it is to be filled.

Details: Mary Grace wants you to come join her squad! Cheer on the sidelines, look super cute in a uniform, get thrown absurdly high in the air!! Don't worry, Mary Grace always stays on the ground to make sure no one falls. Your captain likes to play a little dirty from the sidelines, using flashy displays and explosions to distract the opposing team, and she maaaaay sometimes lead you astray and get in trouble for it. Don't worry, she'll proudly take the fall for any bad ideas she's got brewing. She mostly just wants her team to have FUN and is not above FORCING you to have FUN as a means of BONDING.

Details: it's fitz's first year as captain and he's determined to make an impression. does your character like decorating? dancing? shouting? he'd love some cheerlings to be overprotective of! he's going to try and involve the entire house in routines, but cheer squad is on the front lines of HOUSE SPIRIT and he's ready to be ENTHUSED WITH YOU!

Details: fitz's mom, leona, is from a pureblooded family and had a marriage to a similarly pureblooded man for a few years before they divorced & she got custody of their two daughters. this means that half of fitz's fam is pureblooded — and i'd love for that connection to be in-game! hit me up for a cousins, or step-sibs from a second marriage, line~

Details: Do you want to be a cool high school sports star?? Do you like charging crystals under the moon??? Then you'll love being on varsity Quodpot! Valkyrie is a tough captain, and she uses astrology to analyze her team's effectiveness. No, there is no opting out of meditation, and don't even think about bringing all that negative energy to practice.
Adrian is her co-captain, but, like, she's the senior soooo... she's the one really in charge, right? :)

Details: The Junior Thorntrails have been lovingly nicknamed the Tree Goths due to their fondness for black eye makeup, social awkwardness, and the macabre and it would definitely be fun (though not necessary!!!) for future members to play to or against that archetype in various ways. I would personally LOVE a perky Mr/Miss Sunshine sort that somehow manages to fit in with these kids. Golden Boy Quodpot Co-Captain Adrian Gildersleeves, perhaps? There's lots of fun potential and great names here! We've got a good crew of kids already so this is hardly an urgent request, more of a heads up on what interested parties might be getting into!!!

Details: This isn't a high priority ask, but I've painted the wizarding side of Fred's family generally as hillpeople hedgewitch wiz-ag folks who live in the surrounding Elflock Falls area (at least one of them is Very Into Cheese), SO if that's a concept that interests you and you're interested in playing a cousins line with Fred, hit me up!

Details: Peckenpaugh has a very sweet and supportive teacher in Mr. Potkin, and he needs students! A classically trained artist, Mr. Potkin has the chops to help with even the most complicated projects, but he's more interested in encouraging his students to realize their own artistic merits.
We have a cute project or two currently planned for art kids throughout the year, but we need students to do it! Learn how to make living portraits and cursed dolls, help Mr. Potkin restore the statue of Yalldive Peckenpaugh for extra credit, display (or maybe even sell) your art at showings during the year, or make a lasting mark on the town with art of your very own. Whether that takes the form of a huge mural on the Zippy Dip, several fire hydrants lovingly welded together, or a yarn-bombed picnic, Mr. Potkin will love every contribution. There's no limits when it comes to your art!
Well, there might be legal limits. Let's keep this at least 60% legal, kids.

Details: deeplurk hasn't won the quidditch cup in at least two years and it's EGREGIOUS. but maybe they'd do a lil better if they stopped losing so many points for backtalk? ... just saying. in my mind this is a scrappy ass dangerous underdog team that just needs a lil polish, and i love that vibe. but who knows what it'll look like when more kids get faces!!

Details: Laszlo and his mother live in one half of a quirky duplex in Elflock Falls. They just moved in this summer. If you're making a local and would like a couple of uhhhh interesting neighbors, maybe they live in the other half of the house!

Details: Uriah started a rock band this year, and so far it's just him and Aris. He plays guitar, writes songs, and does backup vocals. Aris plays the drums. We're still looking for a bassists, another guitarist, maybe some misc. instruments or something??? (Someone's expressed tentative interest in the lead singer so we're not looking for that currently!) You can choose whether Uriah and Aris will need to recruit them, or if they're already in the band. And no the band doesn't have a name yet.

Details: Fred's dad frontmans a local Too-Old-to-Still-Rock band (currently unnamed) and I would be tickled to have some more parents in on this. They usually perform at Hap's Place, but also at local festivals. Embarrass your children!! Elflock Lanes proprietor Lir Liu is their stony faced bassist and Joe Deverill is their keyboardist/pianist. Still room for a drummer and a guitarist, depending on interest??? Fred's dad is only confirmed on vocals, at the moment. So! I'm super flexible and this is just a silly thing for kids to chatter about, haha.
