DROPBOX

This page is a quick way to get in touch with the mod team. If you have a suggestion for a future event, would like to request NPC interaction, need clarification on something, or have questions about anything Peckenpaugh-related, you can post that here. All comments on this page are screened initially, but threads with valuable information may be made public. You can also contact us via email at peckishmods@gmail.com. We will try to address all questions and requests in a timely manner. If it has been seven days and you have not received a response, we encourage you to bump your comment with an edit or reply.

What sorts of things can I ask about here?

  • Questions about the setting at large.
  • Questions about NPCs.
  • Questions about the application or the character roster.
  • If you need clarification of the rules, IC or OOC.
  • If you would like mod assistance, permission or input on an event you'd like to run.
  • If you want your character to do something, but aren't sure if it's okay to do, or if you'd like to know potential IC consequences before you do something.
  • Suggestions for pcal slots, events or anything of that nature.
  • Requests for NPC interactions with staff, townies and any other mod controlled characters roaming the hills.
  • Requests for a roll if you're out late at night or otherwise doing something that might get you in trouble. What does the roll net you? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  • Once a month you may request an RNG roll to see if you find anything cool at Spellunking or are successful in acquiring spirits from Elflock Liquor.
  • If you need to drop a character or leave the game. :(
  • And, honestly, anything game related!

After seeing a jazz octopus ghost in the photopiano, the dumbest Wildgulch Juniors (Mary Grace, Felicity and Patrice, while Wyatt and Uriah fret in the background?) are going to poke around the pipes and any accessible nooks and crannies. Don't worry, they're wearing goggles. Do they see any jazz octopi? Are any of the pipes big enough to stick an arm in, and if it is will anyone get their arm stuck?

The few Wildgulch Juniors blessed with common sense (Zadie, Desmond) go and fetch Dr. Ranui to make sure the photopiano isn't going to kill them in the middle of the night. Please don't kill these children, but please do bring Dr. Ranui to tell them it's okay.

Uriah puts on the spooky mask.

I assume nothing happens but I had to check.

Trudy stops by Ms. Altizer's office when she seems to have time to entertain a few questions. At first, they're related to Arithmancy homework (she's not about to publicly declare a prediction based on errant shredded cheese again, thanks!) but then she asks about a dream she had. It seemed exceptionally realistic (she's not shy about sharing the details, if asked), and she wonders if there's anything to it, or if she should just stop drinking coffee late in the evening. She admits that this is perhaps a better question for Dr. Huang, but she prefers the Arithmancy approach to predictions, and besides, she just knows Ms. Altizer better and mostly wants her opinion on whether this is something worth the time to look into.

Next, looking a little triumphant, she produces a photo. "This looks like quite a party! Is that you and Mr. Berzelius? He didn't lose his eye to a vuvuzela, did he?"

Hi mods! Per Armani's request, Merlin would like to try the following:

  • Tonight he will bury his cicada at Mothgarden.
  • Tomorrow, while he's in the hedge maze, he will put his cicada in the fountain.

Does anything happen at either location?

    Thanks!

Lionel, Claudia and Jupiter approach Mr. Potkin at their (and his) earliest convenience, looking for information. Jupiter has a picture of a picture of Mr. Potkin and A Boy in a Cool Leather Jacket from the Zippy Dip Wall of Winners on her phone, and If they couldn’t get a certified copy of shot #8 from Maisy’s roll then possibly a phone picture of that too. They’re maybe 25% too intense as they ask Mr. Potkin about the boy, his name and how well they knew each other, and then try to use it as a convenient segue toward finding out more about Mr. Qualls. Does (did?) he have a family? How long has he worked at Peckenpaugh? Is he from around here? Do you know how he lost his memory? The goal is to find out as much about Mr. Qualls as possible so Lionel can hoard the information, but other characters conveniently overhearing is always an unfortunate possibility.

What cool junk can Maisy find at Spellunking this month, and can she convince Kyle to give any of it to her as a birthday gift?

Unrelatedly (certainly don't let it affect your CHARITY LEVELS, kyle!), Maisy and Audrey have arranged all the photos she found of Kyle into a mini scrapbook, complete with glitter letters proclaiming things like "KYLE'S FIRST DATE??" (adjacent to a picture of him with someone who is, presumably, a platonic friend) and "KYLE'S CAVE ADVENTURE" (a little more literal), and a bunch of cutesy Lisa Frank-esque scrapbooking stickers applied liberally across the pages.

Willow wants to see if she can't find the lovelorn muscheron. If so, she'd like to try to communicate and offer to help them with a makeover!

Trudy has been keeping an eye out for Pocket, particularly around the lake. She would like to set up a stake out, but she is far too busy.

However, to aid in her search, she does leave out a sort of gift basket for the party bug. It looks mostly like stuff she's confiscated from band freshmen --- a colorful eraser that doesn't actually erase, but turns most of your words into mild swears, a mini vuvuzela, a whistling fidget spinner, to name a few --- but she also throws in a pair of neon shades, a mini liquor bottle, and a packet of bubble gum that makes you blow bubbles. On an index card she has written, "Pocket, I would like to speak to you. -Trudy."
